Item Number:
The welding wire NiMoCr with a diameter of 0.8 mm is wound on a D200 plastic spool and is composed of low-alloy steel.
It is suitable for MAG welding of quenched and tempered fine-grain structural steels with a yield strength of approximately 700 MPa.
The welded material is suitable for use at temperatures ranging from -50 to 350 °C.
The mechanical quality values vary depending on the shielding gas used. Optimal weld quality is achieved by using mixed gas M 21 in conjunction with corresponding welding parameters. Welding can be performed in both the short-circuiting and spray arc modes. The preheating temperature depends on the base material. It is crucial to ensure controlled heat input, with the interpass temperature not exceeding 180 °C.
Applicable shielding gases (EN ISO 14175) for MAG welding include mixed gases such as M20, M21, M24, M26.
