The Wielander & Schill Trac Tower 550 is a portable pulling tower designed for bodyshop professionals who need quick, controlled pulls without a fixed bench setup. It anchors firmly to any workshop floor using a pneumatic vacuum base plate, so there is no need for floor bolts or permanent fixings.
As a result, you can position the tower exactly where you need it and start pulling within minutes. Furthermore, at just 22 kg, it is light enough for one person to move between vehicles with ease.
The X-Plate base uses compressed air at 6 bar to create a powerful vacuum seal against the workshop floor. In addition, a soft foam rubber seal ensures the plate grips securely even on surfaces with small bumps or imperfections. Consequently, the tower stays firmly anchored during pulling operations without any risk of movement.
The Trac Tower 550 offers 15 height positions up to a maximum of 1.65 metres. Therefore, it handles both high-level pulls on roof pillars, A-posts, and B-posts as well as low-level pulls on door sills and lower panels. This versatility means you only need one tower to cover a wide range of repair scenarios.
Pulling force is applied through a belt-driven manual ratchet hoist. This gives the technician precise control over the pull, allowing gradual adjustments rather than sudden force. As a result, you can achieve accurate panel alignment while minimising the risk of over-pulling or secondary damage.

The mobile Trac Tower 550 is held securely on workshop floors by a pneumatic vacuum base plate and is characterised by outstanding traction. Thanks to its mobility and low weight, the towing tower can be positioned quickly and easily next to the vehicle.
